More about NABMS

Our Mission

In 1985 the North Alabama British Motoring Society was founded to offer enthusiasts of classic British cars a friendly organization to promote and support our addiction. Since then the club has grown steadily and now boasts over 80 members in the Northern Alabama and southern Middle Tennessee area.  While founded as a club of British car enthusiasts, NABMS is open to enthusiasts of all European cars.  Currently most members own or lust after some sort of MG, Triumph, Austin-Healey, Mini, Morgan, or Jaguar.  However, many club members also appreciate and own cars from Germany, Sweden, France, Yugoslavia, and Italy as well, as evidenced by the variety of other European marques owned by club members. Membership in the club is open to anyone.  Enthusiasm for British & European cars, not ownership, is the only requirement!

What we Do

We are a group of individuals that enjoy the fellowship of other British car enthusiasts. Events scheduled throughout the year include scenic drives, shows, museums and technical sessions to satisfy membership interests and promote participation.  Annual Membership dues are $15...and have been since 1985.

Whether you own a car and need a "support group", want to learn more and get into the hobby, or are simply an enthusiast for the cars from across the pond you are welcome to join us.

Charitable Activities

The NABMS supports ARF (Austism Resource Foundation) from proceeds at our annual EuroBrit Auto & Bike Expo, held the first Saturday in June each year at Dublin Park, Madison, Alabama.

We are very fortunate to have the full cooperation with the City of Madison Parks and Recreation and sponsorship from Jaguar and Land Rover of Huntsville, Audi of Huntsville, and Martin's Classic Cars, LLC.
